About us
Bratislava Burlesque has been operating for almost 10 years as a platform for the production of burlesque performances, a burlesque academy and a safe space mainly for women and queer people to develop self-confidence and topics such as sexuality and work with the body. Part of our activity is also a clear definition of opinions and a reaction to current social issues through performances. We have many productions at home and abroad, and our female performers have experience from various world festivals and interesting projects.
Lotta Love
The founder of Bratislava Burlesque is Lotta Love, who works as a producer, solo performer and burlesque teacher. She brought burlesque to Slovakia thanks to her study abroad, where it enchanted her and she continues to develop this vision to this day. You can see her performing at Bratislava Burlesque productions, at Tepláreň Kabarete, and she is also part of the Prague queer art platform Pinkbus.
Bratislava Burlesque Team
Behind the whole operation is a team that has been working on a common goal for several years. Namely, they are the Bratislava Burlesque soloists: Lady Vivian, who leads the courses, but is also an excellent presenter, Lady Sarcastic, who you may know as the stage kitten and producer of our events, and Rocky Rúž, whose sense of detail has already helped to move many situations to a higher level.
